The most important HVAC decisions are made before installation day.
Equipment selection is only one part of the project. Capacity, placement, routes, airflow, drainage, power, piping, access, protection and finish work determine how well the system belongs in the home.

Understand the home and the goal
We begin with the property, the existing systems, the rooms involved and what the homeowner wants to improve.

Review the existing conditions
Model numbers may answer some of the first questions. For a more involved project, we may request photographs or arrange a site visit to review the equipment, routes, utilities, access and nearby finishes.

Plan the system
Equipment, capacity, locations, distribution, controls, drainage, venting and supporting work are considered together.

Put the complete scope in writing
The proposal identifies the major equipment, included work, connected trades, price, payment schedule, assumptions and exclusions.

Protect and coordinate the home
Access, deliveries, building requirements, work-area protection and any related trades are organized before the start.

Install, start up and close out
Orange Mechanical completes the agreed system work, checks operation, reviews the controls and finishes the related work included in the proposal.
